Rosemont School of the Holy Child 60th Anniversary and Dedication

Bryn Mawr, PA - September 20, 2009 - Rosemont School of the Holy Child celebrated its 60^th anniversary as well as the completion of the campus expansion and renovation with a dedication ceremony and a full mass.

Aegis Property Group was the Project Manager for the expansion and renovation project. Tim Calligan, Partner, and Catherine Cantlin, Development Manager, worked on the project for Aegis and attended the festivities along with their spouses.

The dedication event, held on the Daniel J. Algeo Field, drew strong media coverage, as it was presided over by Cardinal Rigali and concelebrated by 12 priests.

The $18.5 million campus expansion and renovation includes:

• The 13,600 s.f. O’Neill Gymnasium and Daniel J. Algeo Field, which was completed in 2007
• A 25,400 s.f. addition to the Academic Center that houses an Early Childhood Center, science and computer laboratories, Lower and Middle School art and music rooms, a new library and a chapel.

The Academic Center will be renamed Broderick Hall, in honor of Sister Mary Broderick, Rosemont’s Head of School for 27 years. Sister Mary shepherded the expansion and renovation project and worked closely with the project team.
